Only if me or someone I live with has symptoms. So twice in 6 months.

I've had a positive antibody test as well.

There's just nowhere near enough lab capacity to test us all every week unfortunately!

Circa 1.5 million NHS workers. We are approaching 200k tests a day. ( More than any other country in Europe)

People need to realise that expectations are not always achievable.

Read this app is flawed. You can check into a venue but not out. So you go for a coffee at 9am and don’t check into anywhere else, the app will automatically check you out at midnight. So according to the app you’d have been in the same place for 15 hours.

Seems a bit shite that.

There’s a hotel in California like that. Never been myself though.

Covid cases in Scotland have doubled in the last week.
Without being political about this, Nicola has as much of a clue as Boris. You can also add the heads of state of all the other European countries. Apart from Germany of course. But maybe that’s because of the people and not the government. Just a thought.

(Trying to ignore all football matters)

I'm not sure it would be anything more than a publicity stunt anyway.

Sounds good - but not sure it would achieve a fat lot. At the moment the problem is stopping people coming in - not clinical staff being off work.

Seriously, who really gives a shit about  anything that comes out of America? There are millions of twitter accounts in the US. Why should this have any relevance to down town Bolton?

We are part of Europe. Brexit doesn’t alter the fact that we are more European than American. Why is everyone so Obsessed with America?

Publicity stunts don’t stop the virus.

Politicians don’t stop the virus.

Tests don’t stop the virus.

People stop the virus by avoiding contact.

Agreed. I think we all need to understand that we're in uncharted territory and NOBODY really knows what the answers are. Anybody who's getting it right is getting it right by accident.....

 Can't say I'm obsessed

I posted that as an example of stupidity

I'm sure there are similar "high profile" folk tweeting similar in France, Spain and Germany but I don't speak those languages

I'll look for some Australian and South African ones to even things up

Keep into the blue & out of the red, there’s nothing in covid for 2 in a bed

This just says to me that the new measures are working?

Hopefully they can ease them later next month if that continues

Tells me it was just an attempt to terrify us. Much too soon for any measures to turn into figures.

Bullshit from the scientists.

One of my local pubs which has had to close despite being in Bromley Cross, an area with zero covid reports, hospitalisations, deaths bemoans the fact that the number in Bolton, which caused the local lockdown has been surpassed by seven other towns but none of them has suffered the same measures,

It’s bollocks.

You’ve just posted a picture of some columns without any reference to anything. 🤷‍♂️

It was the “not a prediction” scenario from Witty and Vallance
