You can't order a drink without ordering a meal and once you've eaten you have to leave.

You sound like my wife ...

yep that’s the gist of it I know , but my comment was about what constitutes and can classed a meal in that scenario.

I'm pretty sure Burnham asked over a week ago to see the dat being used to justify tier 3

It didn't appear

Rather than him asking for justification figures for Greater Manchester area going into Tier3, wasn’t he actually asking for comparatives with other areas which weren’t under threat; specifically that there London? They didn’t come either.

So they’re both wrong then?

I’ve said for weeks the governments handling of the situation is wrong. I also think it’s very wrong in this case as it shouldn’t be up for discussion. Should have been enforced.

But back to the point at hand  you believe burnham has done a good job yes? Acted for and got the best deal for the people of GM?

And now I’ve got to sit through 90 minutes of 4th tier, fuck-awful kickyball, masterminded by a wannabe Pep Guardiola who’d be as well sending 11 docile wasps out onto the pitch with an instruction to gaze at the floodlights all night.

for FUCKS sake

They aren’t separate points though are they?

I believe AB attempted to represent GM and their needs and the govt have put politics first, fucked him and made another decision thrown in the face of the people of this area.

They used the North’s working class for Brexit and to remain in power and now they show their true colours and cast them aside.

Im neither Tory nor Labour so I don’t give a shit about entrenched politics but I believe in decency...and I have a very strong opinion on who was on that side.

The only mistake Burnham has made is to not be a Tory.

Hes bang on. It’s about those on the lowest wages, who are being fucked over.

So take the equivalent money Lancashire and Liverpool did?

The lowest wages can be topped up with income support, and with the additional money lancashire and Liverpool can give from their business support funds, the 66% suddenly goes up a good chunk.

And Steve Rotherham isn't a tory.

Burnham was asking for £75mill

or

160th of what Boris gave to his mate Dido for a track and trace system that is fucking bogwank

In reality it should never have been a conversation about money for the bin dippers or anybody else. It’s opened up a can of worms.

Reckon you're right. Put areas in and give the sort of package already being agreed.

At least that gives authorities some say on how best to distribute the funds.

No way were they going to give in, with other authorities watching on..

Thank you. So am amazingly this is all the governments fault. That’s fine you’re entitled to your opinion but we shall leave it there as I think that’s a truckload of horseshit. Burnham has played to the crowd and failed spectacularly to gain anything. The people of GM are worse off because of his actions. Just my opinion.

Have a good evening.

Have a good evening.

Reminded me of a number of union officials I've encountered over the years. A waste on contributions they were.
