Is it worth pubs going through all the arseache of opening for a few days?

Probably not, from a selfish point of view Id love a pint on xmas day, but cant see them relaxing pubs and stuff surely? Will just be households mixing wont it?

Speaking to a few hotel owners today. They don't want the review on 16th.

Tier 2 is more of a disaster for them than 3.

Keep em shut and pay for it.

This is where confusion creeps in. Heard plenty say what you have previously. On the other hand you hear some, including JW Lees mon, saying tier 3 is going to kill them.

SEA acted decisively and had a total lockdown where you couldn’t leave your condo for weeks.

Add to that their respect/fear for their Country, Govt & Police etc and it’s job done.

This place is full of people with no respect for themselves, never mind authority.

Add to that a Govt who can’t make a decision, where police have no real power and populated by millions of snowflake lefties and this is where you end up.

Spot on, cept for the bit about snowflake lefties, not sure what this mess has to do with them specifically

Right within the current Christmas rules what can families do and not do?

me the wife and sprog, usually go To the in-laws (childcare bubble) in the morning then my mam and dads in the afternoon

Now my brother in law his Mrs ( a good handful I’d say) and his kid wanted to go to my in laws and then his own in laws

Can that happen?

Everyone except me is flapping so I thought I’d restore some order by asking you bunch of deviants

5 minutes later and it starts to look murky

But, i think theres something that you can only be in one bubble

If thats the case, its all dead clear

I read it and thought right ok I get it. Then the Mrs asked a question and it stumped me then it became clear as mud.

I'm having my folks and brother over from 24th to 27th

and that's it - 3 households, no others - reckon it's pretty clear and I know I'm ok doing that

I think if you have to ask, it probably means you shouldn't be, because the situations become contrived to suit you're preferred plans

Rudys scenario isnt contrived in the least

Just because its not something you want to do, doesnt mean anybody is trying to push it

In fact, given your keep locked down attitude to it all, why have anybody round at all

Its obvs riskier than keeping the doors locked
