It’s obviously highlighting one side of the argument but it’s got some truth in it. There have been other things done which have been positive though. If the new normal is that you can't go on holiday for the next few years without quarantining & testing negative, then so be it. I think that by far the best chance of having genuine, lasting normality is to follow that through to the end. What I don't think anyone has ever provided, is how cracking on would actually mean we could all crack on. Surely you accept that the way the numbers were going in November and December, was completely unsustainable? And that was with restrictions.
