They've been mainly awful, this lot, but if they can knock this vaccine out of the park, then fair play. There was someone on R5L yesterday; "they've been slow with the vaccine" Went unchallenged. Youri McAnespie 761
Why doesn't Pfizer or Astra-Zeneca start legal action for defamation (can you libel a company?) against a random handful of these tinfoil hat twats? Soon shut the m0ngs up - the threat of financial ruin. Edited January 16 by Youri McAnespie

At the moment plenty of beds filling up with younger folk, even if they don't die. Can't see any significant opening up quite so soon if there is a chance of it running rife in 40+ folk. Whitty intimated this too.

Site Supporter Winchester White 258 Posted January 16 Site Supporter Share Posted January 16 We just need to get through these next few weeks for the NHS which is completely overwhelmed at the moment in some areas. It has never been as stretched as it is right now, that is scary if you were to fall ill with anything. Nurses and doctors as well as support staff like porters, cleaners, etc are absolutely worn out.

Boby Brno 447
Definitely looks like we’ve peaked now. A few more weeks of lockdown and the vaccination programme increasing is all positive news. Spring/summer could be one of the best. The Ashes is looking more likely than ever now.👍

The Australians are the dullest people on the planet, I'd hate to be surrounded by then when they're crowing about a victory. On the flip side, they certainly don't like it up 'em, so I'd love to be there if we give them a good hiding, I bet that's brilliant
