Aye. Perhaps they should just double the figures so you can moan some more.

Even if you accept theres an issue with the numbers, its not going to affect the vast majority

Ie the first 5 or 6 weeks

And anyway, its not the number of deaths that I knock them for, its the amateurish leadership, decision making, muddled announcements, defending Cummings and generally thinking they can take the plebs for mugs

They've been utterly shit and if nobody had died, they'd still have been utterly shit

I presume that you're taking the piss by saying they're doing OK

Well, time will tell.

But, with due respect, perhaps read a bit more deeply.

the Swedish epidemiologists were always setting it up for the long term. They are still confident that they have the right thing in not locking down.

The ONS did a report on the excess deaths in June and found it was highly likely that the vast, vast majority of them will have been from COVID. Test or no test.

But really, if the Karol Sikora, Matt Le Tissier, KBF brigade don't get it at this point, they never will.

So could any country other than those with no deaths. Mistakes happen and bad choices happen it’s about how we learn from them.

Whether we have a government that are doing so and are thus learning as a country I’m not too sure though.

aye, it was more in response to the suggestion they were doing ok, because they were the poster boys of KBF minded folk not so long ago

seems they're not doing ok, whether that be the economy or the death rate, based on the last two links

Highly likely may as well be “we think” “could be” “possibly is” “maybe”. Same weight of proof

I think it’s highly likely Jeremy corbyn smashed abacus abbots back doors in. But again it means nowt

They never do certainities in science and analysis, they let journos do that for them.

I'd probably put their analysis over an anonymous letter sent to a crank suing the government, but each to their own.

Speaking of PALS at bolton general. My dad was in bolton general a couple of years back and I wouldnt have treated a dog the way he was, it was a disgrace made worse by the fact the ward he was on got gold status whilst he was there. The ward should have been shut down. I complained to PALS and the woman said you're right I send my family to the hospital in Preston!! I went back and the next woman in their was furious that had happened and very understanding thankfully. My mum was in over Christmas though and the AMU were superb, killing themselves whilst clearly understaffed, a and e were fantastic too.

Local pub near me has face masks on entry and til your at your seat. If your going to the toilets or moving about the bar to go out for a fag or anything then facemasks required as well.

that’s how it should be done.

Wouldn't fancy having a fag with a facemask on! :)

Grassroots friendly games back from August and league September, lads buzzing

Saw that this morn, no futsal yet though. Not heard anything from the academy yet, usually back in sometime in July/early Aug

So it seems we are stopping reporting daily deaths as after 4 months the Govt have decided the numbers are misleading.

Was it not the media asking for them to be at the briefings in the first place? Seems to be my recollection
