Citeh banned from Europe

I agree re the hypocrisy. Unfair practices been going on for years; iirc Real were essentially financially fucked some time ago, but high ranking folk within the organisation ended up getting the club bailed out with tax payers money or something along those lines.

Either apply rules stringently and fairly across the board, or don't bother with them.

I’m so so annoyed.
The goal for the staff from the top to the bottom was work to establishing City as a European Heavyweight, not winning it but to create a winning formula. I amongst others have worked so hard sacrifices so much. I’m literally away from my family now prepping to watch Madrid this weekend ready to report back for the Real Madrid champions league game.

it feels like a lot of work for nothing.

Doesn’t surprise me when you have David Gill running the show for UEFA, trying everything to get united back in the champions league

Spot on. Rags are desperate losers. Spoke to a Man City mate and he’s confident it will be overturned.

A dream scenario would be man ure thinking they are in and Man City win an appeal and they go out haha

Haven't city already been warned / fined before along with PSG? If so, then tough shit

I think i heard they are trying to cover their tracks all the time, like paying low wages but big bonuses, and pretending they generate money from sponsorship when it's all from the owners pocket

If so, there's no point in fining them, it has to be a ban or they just carry on

And they have to go after the others

Think it was Madrid who around 15 years ago racked up £150m debts, sold their training ground to the government / royal family for £150m, who then turned round and said "what do we need a training ground for, you can have it back for nowt"

I think that’s the problem for me. Real and Rags gets away with it because they have loads of sad cunts following them and generate more money. They want a closed shop. Makes it all a bit pointless.

They’ll probably get it reduced to a year,  but I find the massive fine a pisstake when other clubs get fined a few pennies for monkey chants.

Scousers having a pop is exactly what you’d expect from them, the fucking horrible snidey skipfeeders.

Maybe the travelling city fans should crush some Spaniards under a wall and take everyone down with them.

End of the day, if Citeh’s legion of fans bothered turning up every week, they may have avoided this. Fuck them all.

Who cares really?  Presumably they wont need a winter break now, they can celebrate their lack of tiredness.  City survived for decades with virtually no European football, I think they'll get over it and continue to exist.

I think everyone was expecting a 1 year ban.
UEFA ban them for 2
City appeal
Ban reduced to 1 yr
Everyone claims a win.
Job done

56 years old

Been there. Done it. With every type of fan from every type of club

Lived in Manc for 20 years now. Also lived in Sheffield and Warrington. Lived outside Bolton for more years than within. Gives me a perspective

Do I hate Utd? No. Couldn’t give a shiny shite about them. They aren’t our rivals. 99.9% of them couldn’t give a two penny fuck about us and for me the feeling is mutual. Do I care that we won in 58? Yeah. My dad was there. I grew up on his tales of that day. Do I give a shit that bricks were thrown at the bus 62 years ago? Do I fuck

Do I hate the Massives? Right now, yes. Ever since the Richard Dunne handball all I’ve ever had is abuse. “Fuck you and your tinpot club” “You and your shithouse club don’t deserve to be in the same league as us” “Fuck off and play against Droylsden and Curzon Ashton when you deservedly get kicked out of the EFL” That’s the level of shit that I get round here for being a BWFC supporter. Not from Utd fans but from the Massives

I don’t know if you’ve ever lived outside Bolton but within the confines of Manc. Maybe you have, maybe you haven’t. If not you’ll maybe not understand what it’s like to live amongst them

If you don’t understand then fair enough.

They did'nt throw bricks  . They threw sods for the record .Not big & not clever. But neither was starting our victory tour from Irlam heights

I used to hate them with a passion & still always favour the other team but things change .Almost every club in Lancashire  outside the prem ( except probably pne ) hate us with a passion so we need to re-direct our vitreol.

Cant comment on City fans only know three & they are long in the tooth & ok.

Some chatter being reported on the BBC that City could be demoted to League 2 the same way Rangers were punished in Scotland. So Morecambe and Oldham might not be our biggest games after all.

Balls to City. If this ruling stands as it is it won't be a knockout blow. Being out of Europe for 2 years? Big deal. I actually think it's a lenient punishment.

I hear what Rudy is saying on how it effects the staff at Mcfc, and the hypocrisy of it all. But surely the gripe lies at the door of Man City and the decision makers.

Seems the info sent to UEFA to show they're within the confines of FFP is exactly the same info sent to EPL to prove it to them too. If the appeal fails or if their FFP is proven to be outside of the rules, there's perhaps a chance that City will be kicked out of the EPL too.

Obviously some bean counter is employed by MCFC (and other clubs) to ensure rules are stuck to and report to UEFA and EPL accordingly so if you're bending rules to suit your own circumstances you run the risk of being found out.

So, the question is, who provides the auditing system to ensure that the rules are being stuck to?

Or does the EFL just accept the word of the club?

Indeed. I'm having to let the gardener and chef go because I've been robbing houses to pay them. I would have got away with it if I hadn't got caught.
