When he stayed an extra night and was supposed to go back to London he got bladdered and got locked in his B and B and then he crashed a milk float after getting up late, Parry fired him. He said he was paid to network to do the socials and get in the piss. Some of the stories about him and Parry antics were quite good back in the 00’s. ive not listened to talksport for a while if I do i tend to dip into H & J. Although when its usual presenter Goldstein is on its a bit shouty and United slanted, but his stand in is a bloke who actually knows his stuff and it's a relaxing, informative listen. I quite liked the afternoon with H & J but it was at a time I was on the road a lot. More of a LBC or Virgin radio man these days depending on who is on. Steve Wright's lot can be annoying but love his genuine enthusiasm for good music, especially the oldies 3 till 3.30. Some great broadcasters on 5 as well as some annoying one's.
