Traf
All piss-taking aside, why can't people play golf? Online booking for tee times spread 20 mins apart, a maximum of 2 playing at once. Is walking around a golf course whacking a ball any worse than walking around a park with the dog, where you're actually more likely to see other people doing the same? Technically a golf course is a 4-mile one-way walk, so I could turn up today and walk the course (with or without a dog), but not not hit a ball. Once finished, just fuck off quick so the next two don't catch you up. Anyway, it's not the end of the world.

Precisely but I’d guess some fuckwits would play a 4 ball and therefore not isolating themselves.
Traf
Had to have words with my 27yr old son last night. His generation seem to be the ones not taking all this seriously enough. He's been WFH for the last 2 weeks, as he has asthma etc, but has to go to the office occasionally to collect files. When at the office, social distancing is in full effect, as hardly anyone's there. So off he goes yesterday afternoon to get his files and doesn't return home until 10pm, because he has been to his girlfriends house (she's at her parents' too, of course). He isn't getting why that's not acceptable, so today he has the choice of (a) not seeing her in person until this is over or (b) going to live at hers, as she's not welcome here until this is over. My ex Mrs felt the need to commandeer my daughters to hers for a party on Sunday. Including my elder daughter who has asthma and should be in isolation. Mixing with family who are still working and on the frontline in public. Gobsmacked and upset didn’t do my feelings justice.

This is pretty much where we're at with both of mine. Both have long term other-halves and I've pointed out that they can't just keep swapping houses. Daughter's boyfriend came round last night with some of her stuff and just walked in as normal. He was told.

Out of interest - did you then put him into lockdown at home? Did you run after him with a sanitising spray and clean any surfaces he touches? Wondering what levels folk are now going to with people in their families that are leaving the house for work and MAY come into contact with the virus. Having read that article on another thread - where there's millions of droplets of this virus all over surfaces (tables, trolleys, light switches, lift switches, door handles, pens, cups, tins on supermarket shelves, baskets, car doors, clothing, etc) - we cannot be safe even though we may be enforcing the 2 metre rule and staying at home "most of the time".
