Site Supporter Spider Posted March 24, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted March 24, 2020 I actually know someone who has it. She lives in Chorley and tested positive yesterday. First case I’m aware of personally.

Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted March 24, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted March 24, 2020 Kent, Alf Hartigan? Sure there was someone else on here with symptoms. Anyway, niece and sister in law could well have it. St Alban's.
Ani
2 friends have recovered. They think they had it.
bwfcfan5
No confirmed cases I know of, but friend in Manchester is a nurse in what was MRI - and has a raging sore throat, cough and temperature. She was sent home. Now in bed and pretty much not moving. So I'd say its likely she has it.
Site Supporter only1swanny Posted March 24, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted March 24, 2020 I've got something nasty, been told to self isolate. Issue I have is that Mrs SWanny also has to self isolate for 12 weeks. Staying out of the same room, i've been sleeping on the couch for the last 2 weeks. Thank fully only a very mild cough, and so not many nasties going around.
ProfessorWoland
Lad across the road from my sister. Her boss, another colleagues wife. and please add me to the 'might have had it but probably talking bollocks' mistaking man flu* for covid19 hypochondriacs. *was pretty full on if it was man flu... kent_white
I'm still in bed. Not sure it's COVID though as I've no respiratory symptoms at all. Hearing rumours that NHS staff staff can get tested from tomorrow so I'll let you know. Couple of friends have got all the symptoms so there's a good chance they've picked it up. ErnestTurnip
Day 8 in bed for the mrs, has had every symptom including still not being able to smell or taste anything at all. We're going to give it a couple more days and if she isn't on the mend will have to see what the crack is. Meant to say - status:untested. Sweep
I started with a dry cough and splitting headache last night, temperature is up as well (although I don't know by how much, as I don't have a thermometer) - hopefully just a bit of cold, but who knows....... Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted March 24, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted March 24, 2020 One doc was saying that many people in this country are short on vitamin D, and it's important for the immune system. On the supplements now- can't do any harm to those who might have it.

It’s no surprise though it’s what we’ve been warned about for last two weeks or so day in day out

Thing is, we do need a fair few people to get it, the her immunity thing is still important. I was curious as WW has been spot on about everything recently. Traf
Once everyone knows someone who has it, then people might just start doing as they're fucking told.
