How long do you think your family could cope reasonably comfortably, without visiting a Supermarket?

I reckon we could manage a couple of weeks tops.

A week as I’ve not stockpiled Or changed my buying behaviors and always buy our food weekly for the week ahead and repeat.

I reckon I can go a month, loads of pasta, rice, coffee, all the essentials. Milk and fresh fruit and veg are the only things I'd struggle for, once longlife stuff is gone.

I reckon we could do 2 or 3 weeks - it would be milk and bread that did for us I reckon, other than that, we've got plenty in the freezer and loads of tinned stuff and pasta. Some of the meals might get a bit basic though.......

If the sprog was younger it would be different for nappies wipes but toilet training has helped that.

Booze is going down a bit too quick but I’ve got mixers and rum.
Going through milk bread and cereal quicker because we’re all in. Might need to do a quick dash tomorrow morning to stock for another week.

Probably got 4 or 5 pints of fresh, then maybe 3 pints of "Low Life" 😂 milk.

Booze reserves would be the first to cave in.

That’s when the looting will begin

Emergency milk reserves are 2 packs of Tassimo milkers. Farm up the road are dropping off £25 of meat. I like the idea of less processed shite.

i reckon we've got a weeks worth

popped in morrisons after work yesterday, no tinned stuff or pasta, no eggs, even sold out of toilet duck

just got some frozen stuff to see it through

i can get into the stores early as work for the nhs, but those working the 16 hour shifts deserve it a lot more than me

i'll not starve

p.s, are takeaways classed as essential?

food source so cant see why they would close, be some wait times though

Ordered a takeaway last night, arrived within half an hour.

Corona has made people trust immigrant even less.

Allowed to open. Near me those attached to restaurants have all shut. Pure takeaways are all remaining open - so far
