Probably loads more! Part time might be of interest to me if childcare provisions are fucked til September. He was cracking up said to the boss he couldn’t wait to get back to work. Wanted to be “the first one back in the office”. His missus eventually took furlough so look after the kids. we are making plans to get folk back into the office and now he suddenly can’t come back due to childcare issues. He’s rightly been pulled up on this and a word had in his ear about taking the piss. Wonder how many other folk will be trying this one. I spoke to our school today and they said they are working out how it would be possible to return mid July for year 2. My bosses issue is that he couldn’t wait to get back to work when his wife was at work now she’s off and effectively looking after the kids he doesn’t want to return. although I guess it is possible that simply neither can cope on their own and he’s needed at home.
