I’ve got some chicks pal, they’re doing well now that the dog knows the score to leave them alone. It’ll start to be colder before they can start to lay and apparently that’s better 🤷

We go through a lot here between me and the sprog and the Mrs baking so it made sense.

Would love to have some myself but my missus is scared of them.

They’re lovely, they were loud when they were chicks, and only went quiet when I was there, spent a week sleeping in the conservatory with their coop inside next to them on the couch ( did the same with the dog when we got him, too fuckin soft)

Had a couple of issues with foxes coming into the garden but the dog is sleeping in his out door kennel since it’s been warmer and not had a bother this week.

Wife has had to talk me out of buying a Pygmy Goat. If I had a pond I’d have some ducks.

also had a pasty from Paul’s pasty shop in horwich earlier. Pisses on Carr’s

Not sure if the guy used to work at Ye Olde Pasty Shop but very similar

chippy is opposite aldi further up on the corner.

Both superb mate

Does the Pasty shop almost resemble the burden pasty shop from the outside?

I would be fatter than I am now if I lived near that chippy. Can’t cook it yourself for that money.

Few decent takeaways along there, when I’ve had a night around H-Town

Bury/Prestwich/Whitwfield seem to have had a bit of money pumped into them by local businesses

Had our first lockdown takeaway last Friday (possibly the first of this year).  Apart from not having to do a load of washing up - didn’t blow me away.

Something far more fulfilling and tasty when you just knock it up yourself.

Seen massive changes over the years in those towns especially restaurants loads to go at plenty of different cuisine
