So say for example training starts tomorrow That takes us to June 4 Teams have 10 games to play, The rest have 9. 2 games a week would then take us to July. 6 weeks of Pre season/transfer window/meetings Middle of August. But it’s not starting to tomorrow, the earliest would be middle of May before training could resume, but no one has any idea of how to put measures in place. Then there is the FA Cup still to play, and European Games But 3 leagues have already ended their season. Not to mention we’re still in a pandemic and social distancing rules still apply. There are so many things to consider and not all of them possible, not to mention in the grand scheme of things Football should be at the bottom of the ladder in terms of what needs sorting in this country. And staff have to put their health at risk over the money in football? Fuck that. We aren’t frontline staff, we’re not necessary. Pro Rata the prize money. No champions. no relegations. It might suit them best to dither long enough to force the government to make the decision ( like in France ) & then let the government take the flak.
