Moon boy
Does anybody really believe L1 and L2 will be up and running this side of Christmas For us to watch a game at home, social distancing regulations would have to have been lifted, probably 4 to 6 weeks before then a ‘pre-season’ would be needed and before all that can happen , we need to recruit 20 odd players. As social distancing measures will only be reduced/cancelled when Covid is under control and will not be announced months in advance the preparation can only begin once the Government decides

For context that’s less than 1% of those who are tested, it could include non playing staff and it’s less than what the Bundesliga had on their first round of testing. I’ve got a mate at Burnley and he says he’s not been tested there and has heard the same at other clubs. Few more twists and turns me thinks. He tends to go along the black and white with little grey. That may well be the case for some, but not for many. The club can't afford to disregard lesser/non superfans as they also provide significant income, but our new owners aren't daft like the last twat and will do the right thing I'm sure of it. Strangely, I think being in this very lean playing staff situation will have made life a little easier than it might have been, and other clubs maybe struggling more. Whichever division we end up in next season, with whatever starting points, I reckon the playing field might be a bit more level than it was this time. birch-chorley
Fair enough for Troy Deaney I do hope he’s taken a pay deferral though Cant have £100k a week or whatever it is going out the game to someone who is choosing not to play, he might not be able to play for 2 years before this blows over, that would be £10m
Site Supporter MickyD Posted May 20, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted May 20, 2020 I'm already invested into next season by two months and a single game from this season and a single game at the end of 18/19 season. I reckon STs will be cheap as fuck once they remember they still owe us the un-played games.
Members Rudy
Some of the numbers I’ve seen thrown around for clubs to carry out testing twice a week is absolutely staggering. There’s no way all clubs beyond the prem could afford to operate and then still play games behind closed doors and not get any gate revenue. bolton va va
I hate to say it, but Tranmere have a strong case against being relegated. They're 3 points adrift with a game in hand, & were the form team having won their last 3 games. Of course, if they were to be reprieved, it's only fair that we get a reprieve as well 🙂. Last minute move eh All I ever heard from palios was that they had limited funds to continue (they had to use money for the pitch etc to keep going) maybe the sums are bad for them in league
