Aye but it is dire in L2 .Last time we scroped up which made the experience ok.But it was fookin awful .

L1 & -12 will do me  with the added bonus of playing all the moaning cnts like Doncaster oh what fun we could have !

Would be even better if the deduction was removed, now that would be fun, ramming it right down their throats.

Greater Manchester police  saying they don't want football matches taking place

'What we are fearful of is that people will turn up either at neutral grounds or at home grounds and that could be particularly problematic."

Wouldn't it be wonderful if the government listened to what GMP were saying and null and voided the season; can you imagine the scouse scum then

don’t be fooled by loss of revenue if we go down

season ticket sales won’t be different, and if we started again on -12 I bet you we would get more sales in league 2

God knows how many S/Ts will be sold by all clubs.  With no guarantee of how many games will be played before a possible return of the virus added to the number of vulnerable people that will be afraid to mingle with crowds, its going to see huge drops in numbers nationally.  And that's without considering those can no longer afford it.  But at the moment if there's only 3k on at our home games it will still feel like utopia to be able to return any time in the foreseeable.

Word is that the Oxford lab should have a vaccine ready by August, but then it'll need to be approved which could take us to Autumn, but that would be a feasible starting point with some cup comps binned for 1 season.

What’s your gut feeling? You’re closer to this than any of us.

The vaccine is the key, but obviously no guarantee of them coming up with one that works for everyone.  Let's hope they do, if there's one available by Christmas that would be amazing.  I cant get my head around the practicalities of how long it would take to get 60 million plus people vaccined but that's for another day.  But its definitely not going to be carried out in time for any STs being sold in 2020.  You can see the new Prem season starting in Autumn behind closed doors while all the other leagues have to wait till post-vaccine even to start pre-season training and signing/paying players.

There’s two teams in the top ten (not sure who exactly) whos club doctors opposed it today. Bottom 6 still want relegation off the table. That ain’t happening.
Neutral venues is an issue for police apparently.
I think all games will go ahead behind closed doors. But that will attract fans to the grounds, especially at Anfield.

If these training methods work out and no one contracts it they’ll go ahead no two ways about it. Plenty of players abroad though which is a sticking point.

There’ll be thousands hanging around Anfield if Liverpool play there.

Thousands.

It just can’t be sanctioned.

Sorry if already mentioned but I've skipped to the last few pages as I've been on corona and Battlenips for 8 weeks solid.

Season tickets. Paid for mine int LOV on credit card for protection - if we get canned and can't fulfil fixtures can I claim under section 75 on my credit card? Assuming I can.

Next bit, if I can does the card issuer go after the club to recover or not?

I'd be all over it for a refund if the club aren't having to repay as it would just go on next seasons ticket but they can keep the 5 games if the card issuer tries to recover.

Yes they will go after the club mate as a chargeback.

They can keep it then.

Cheers.

I’d like to think that when season tickets go on sale for next season (whenever that may be), the club will offer a bit of a discount for existing season ticket holders in return for not chasing refunds. Or failing that a buttered hot dog voucher or a tenner for the club shop. Doesn’t cost the club anything but would be a nice gesture (and still make a bit of extra cash as a byproduct).

The corporate sales team rang corporate ticket holders in the first couple of weeks of lockdown checking how we were getting on and giving us an update on what they knew at that time.

Was much appreciated.

There's a lot of pretty ace people work at the club.

I'd rather they have my 5 outstanding games than me get a couple of hundred quid refund and have no club to go to.

There will be about 92 clubs that will have the same issue, so there may be a common theme/policy.  Clubs wont want to be seen to be not making a gesture if everyone else is.  If I'd paid the prices charged by the likes of the big London Prem clubs,  knowing they dont need the money, rather than my £15 a game that is going towards helping the club, I'd be a lot more conerned how they handle it.

I lost 5 banked tickets for the last game last season and similar for rest of this season!

It'll probably be January before we can go again so just give me half season for free and we'll call it quits! 😉

Don't claim it back and there's a reward

Plenty they can do

Free ST first season back in the prem, for example

I'd be very happy to pay for some form of ST that also gives access to ifollow for as long as theres no fans allowed in, but I fear a system like that may be pie in the sky.

Not to mention examples such as where a family or 2/3 people from same household who would usually buy multiple ST's save money, only buy one and crowd around the same laptop.

Don’t think there is any way we can complete this season, so IMO the current positions should stand, forget it move on.

Sadly, can’t see next season starting either,

To get to a point where a crowd could watch safely could be well into next year, no club at our level could afford to sign and pay any players without knowing when games would begin, so include a ‘pre-season’ in the time scale and I reckon we’d be up to this time next year
