D-Day today.

ive changed my mind, sadly I think we’re going down, that points per game shit.

really hope we stay up, would love to see if chino and co can get us out of this

I don't think there was ever any serious prospect of us avoiding relegation.

Yep that's what i have read this morning, all down to that cunt of a chairman at p'boro. I get his team are still in with a chance of a play-off, but his tone just smacks of me, me, me. Would he be saying something different if his club were mid or near the bottom of the table ?

Some would say we would be the same in their position, maybe, but its how you go about it and he is looking like a right greedy little cunt!

Yes unfortunately like in other leagues many clubs will feel hard done by but the Peterborough guy is a moaning bitch

wants to sort his facilities out in the away end it was non league standard

Saw this earlier - shows how Iles and his equivalent Journos at the local papers think the respective clubs in League one will vote

Think its mainly a case of  Me Me Me - where it leaves a decision is anyones guess

Southend have it right, up the shrimpers.

Not sure that we can ask for null & void without knowing what that actually means for us.
Minus 12 or not?
Yr 1 of embargo or Yr 2?
Same salary/squad cap or different

The embargo is a two-year embargo apparently, so presumably that will continue to run from the date it was imposed. If the league were to be null and void then I think we'd start again with -12 points.

There's no chance it'll be null and void though.

Not fussed to be honest I’d take league 1 over league 2 whatever the consequence.

Not if we're so handicapped to a point whereby relegation is likely before a ball is kicked

It won't be any worse than -12 and embargo

I'd take that over a 0 + embargo in div 4

however people’s mindset will be last season was a waste of time & money and to start again playing catch up will put folk off

fans won’t buy into from the off which will have a negative on season ticket sales

a new campaign with a chance of promotion will get fans rejuvenated imo

I’m going to get a season ticket if we are in league two. If it’s another relegation battle in league one I won’t. Don’t care if that makes me a shit fan.

500 mile round trip for a home game I want to see a team that has more than an even chance of winning. Plus I’ve never seen us in the bottom division and want tickets for many aways so it’s a must.

You always reel this off

fuck all to do with loyalty etc

some folk struggle with money juggling work etc so the prospect of the same again won’t bode, FV want to be engaging and getting fans onside after years of shite this would put it back imo

Done the most bizarre day of work in my life today.
It’s relatively organised but it’s not without fault and still an air of confusion.
Players complaining about not being able to breathe properly with masks on when exercising hard. They’ve got a point as well.
Fitness levels will cause injuries that I have no doubt about

But if a player doesn’t catch the virus before the season resumes I will show my arse.

Had a listen to the NTT20 podcast this afternoon with Matt Slater from The Athletic. He was mainly talking about Macclesfield and how they're having persistent wage issues so all their previous points deductions that have been so far suspended will become active soon and put them bottom of L2, but also touched on Bolton.

First time I've actually heard our situation discussed on an external forum, but he says the feeling is we've been punished enough (unless something new goes wrong), we'll go down to L2 and the club will have no real argument with that, starting on 0 next season.
