Thanks all. Means a lot coming from such a broad church of utter bawbags. She’ll be willing the whites on (eventually) from her lofty seat in the upper upper tier. 😊

Sorry to hear that mate, I know it’s been expected but from what you’ve said you did the best for her throughout and until the end, that’s what any mum would be proud of. 
 

take care, best to the family and next time you find yourself in the great big shitehole that is London, let’s go for that long overdue beer.

Sad to hear that your mum has passed, fantastic that she left you a letter, and you’re right mums are ace, sadly lost mine over 20 years ago, but I remember the good times and still can see her smile if I close my eyes.
