Members Rudy
I was thinking this the other day. I’d either go mad or my brain would turn to mush. I think I’d have to own a little business or something. Some Chinese folk build their own coffins. My old man likes this idea because the thought of paying for a funeral really pisses him off. ErnestTurnip
Took my dad about 18 months - 2 years to get his head round retiring, honestly thought it was going to kill him. Now says he doesn't understand how he had time to have a job.
Members Rudy
I’ve got a bit of land at the back of my house, the plan is to make a big pond, get some ducks and a chicken coop maybe a baby goat, fatten it up wring it’s neck and make some curried goat. By the time i can retire Wanderers will be in the Champions League so I’ll end up spending my pension on that.

He also said when his funeral premium came in oh bollocks to that just throw me in the bin. Not sure what colour bin he’d go in.

Duck curry = ring its neck Goat curry = probably best to let a butcher do the honours if you think you can wring a goat's neck.

Wife has wanted some for ages, but it could interesting with 3 collies eyeing up lunch.

It’ll be 2 years in June since my dad retired and he’s still not over it. He clung on too long and pretty much fucked his back in for life by carrying on as long as he did, but in his mind he wanted to work forever, and still does. He misses everything. The early morning town centre shops run, same people about and general chit chat, day in day out for 45 years. Fresh air and chasing the cash. He loved the game. Now hes sat with my mum all day, pissing about the house and going in to Cleveleys shopping for the same shite every other day. Keeps busy with his paintings and guitar etc but his heads still fucked.

Don’t think the dog would be arsed

He's 64 this year and still works a physically demanding job, age is catching up with him and he's starting to struggle, but has no idea how to slow down. Little sisters are only 7, so I have a feeling he will push back retirement until he's got no other choice. He has mentioned moving to the Philippines with his wife a few times. leigh white
I love retirement, getting about all over the place when it's nice weather. Just having a stroll and the occasional visit to a shop in these bleak days now though.

DazBob
I had to endure Morrisons earlier, but it was all worth it because I've bought a big sponge to clean my car. It's gonna be the cleanest car in all of Bolton.
