ErnestTurnip
Run out of stuff and cba walking to shops in this rain so have just had a 750ml bottle of Pink Hooch from a litre mixing jug. Not really got the kick you're looking for if I'm being totally honest.
Elson
I finished off my Zoladkowa vodka from Poland, it’s £35 on Amazon anywhere local I can pick some more up?
Site Supporter Spider Posted June 30, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted June 30, 2020 Girl in Sainsbury’s horwich (34D, none too shabby) She actually commented on how many of their own brand Czech lager I’ve bought tonight. I told her it’s like crack and she just looked at me with a rather alarmed expression. It is though. I blame @Boby Brno

Traf
All these small kegs (Blade etc) are ridiculously priced IMO.
Kane57
The kegs are £3 dearer now than when I looked at getting one 12 months ago, which is frustrating.
ErnestTurnip
Might be worth trying Vas at the Premier store on Lever Edge Lane, mate of mine takes all his PD empties there and buys all his new ones from him and I'm sure he does torps as well. Has deals on a lot, freebie glasses etc.

"Dunno what it's called." 🙄 Ha, anyway, I used to live just at the back of it. Went in once on a Sunday afternoon a couple of years ago and had a decent pint of Estrella Damm. There were only about six others in. Split was probably 50/50 between scruffs and bummers. I fitted into both categories. Site Supporter Spider Posted July 4, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted July 4, 2020 I quick look through the windows of 2 pubs in horwich and I can assure you the “measures” may as well have been sent in Morse code. We are back to normal.

Frankly, we’ll find out soon enough just how virulent Covid is. It'll be Boris' fault for letting us go to the pub again. Not the fault of the pubs and/or their customers for failing to stick to the rules. Traf
Govt asked us to use common sense when the pubs re-opened Govt said pubs could open at 6am. Common sense?
