Escobarp
Take your pic from anfield or highbury for me. both special nights. Was also at wolves in 93 and that was a moody as fuck day just i was getting into all the nonsense and it certainly set me back. Southampton home also sticks in my mind as probably the first time in my bolton watching lifetime that I actually felt we may one day have a place back up with the big boys. Leyther_Matt
Beating Charlton at home in the quarters. First time in a generation or two that we’d got so far. The semi is even more memorable, but I’d rather stick with the positive.
ErnestTurnip
Sentimental and not one for the masses but losing at home against Sheff Utd in 2008, first FA Cup game my lad had ever been to and my mrs was ready to drop another that day. Only 2 English players in the 16 man squad according to him, have we ever had less in a squad for a game ?

The Birmingham Quarter Final win was also magnificent but this marginally shades it because it came first and as you say - first time in a generation. We got to to go Wembley twice with those quarter final wins. I wonder where they'd have played Bolton v Villa and Bolton v Stoke if it had still been in the days of neutral venues for the semis? Old Trafford? Anfield?

Anfield has hosted semis, but not in our time watching the game. Not unless you're in your 90s 🙂 Anfield has said semis the same number of times as Burnden - five https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FA_Cup_semi-finals

Stoke would have had to have been at Old Trafford, only ground to have a sniff of fitting everyone in given there were 75,000(!) at Wembley. From memory we only took about 25,000 to Wembley for Stoke. Reckon it would have been well in excess of 30,000 at Old Trafford! Can't remember how many we took v Villa. I (thankfully) didn’t go to the Stoke game as I didn’t have much cash at the time and the cheap tickets didn’t make it to general sale, so I figured I better save my money in case we got to the final 🙄

Underpants
Liverpool. Everton. Arsenal. All very special for different reasons. Arsenal gets the nod because it was a day off work and it was a brilliant day from begining to the end.
