I wouldnt know what to look for

Is it in the wooded bit below the 5 a side?

Where the 5 aside pitches are go pass the barrier down the hill. It's on the left. But there's loads of the stuff on the less used tracks on the park. You can smell it. It's all coming in to flower now so not much good for anything.

Bought some chickens so I eventually can have their eggs every morning, dog was barking like mad about 3am thought someone was in the house, he took us to the patio window and there was two foxes in the back trying to get to the chicks.

Had to wrestle the dog to stay in whilst I went out and chased the little fuckers off. They’d managed to put a hole in the fence of the coop. Had to bring them in. It was meant so I could have eggs for breakfast, I’ll be eating fox soon.

If the foxes manage to get in and cause carnage - don't disturb them (the foxes).

People anthropomorphisise their behaviour when they go on a killing spree as 'greedy' or 'bloodthirsty' but, left undisturbed, they will return to fetch then stash the other carcasses.

I mean your not going to stick them in your pot are you? So why let them die in vain..?

On the flipside, I was never that arsed about foxhunting - I don't mind genuine toffs having a bit of a lark. It's the Hyancith Bucket/'Considerably richer than yow...' nouveau riche types I despise.

They should ban shopping in Waitrose, pretending to know about wine or owning an Aga instead.

They can find food elsewhere just not with my chickens

I detest fox hunting, Tessa May wanted to bring it back for some bizarre reason but she also does funny dances with Africans so hey ho.

I do have an Aga though

Stick a broomhandle in the ground near the coop, ram a shop bought chicken onto it, up the jacksie - they might be satisfied with that.

Theresa May was damned if she did damned if she didn't with her silly dance, and she should've brought foxhunting back - 90% of them have mange anyway.

Shall I season it and cook it first?

Why not? A bit of salt, garlic, rosemary, olive oil, black pepper and lemon is literally two minutes of a job.

Set some aside minus the lemon and you can do some potato wedges for them, too.

Stick these in the lawn individually, using cocktail sticks.

What about gravy? Put it in a trough?

A properly made gravy - yes, but not over owt seasoned already, well other than with salt and pepper.

Shit powdered gravy is for on your chips.

And the only things from the chippy to go with gravy are any of; chips, sausage, babbeh's head, scallops, scraps, pie (except cheese).

Gravy with fish, for example, is the repast of a reptile - unfit for human fellowship.

Gravy in general slathered over everything, well I hope I've worked my way out of such circumstances.

Apparently root goes down feet, it's impossible to weed effectively - just got to keep on top of it and hope it dies back - but treat it as hazardous waste once weeded, don't compost it or dump it anywhere on your plot, bin it or burn it.

Aye, Mrs TMGJ told me similar. Keep pulling them up in as long a piece as possible. The root will eventually weaken but it will take donkeys years for that to happen.

You’re stuck with them - welcome to my world

I've stopped using a specific were killer for mare's tail as it was a bit nasty, and I believe it's going to be banned soon.

However, started using tribute selective weed killer on it, and although a bit slower than the other, found it effective.

Google it fellas as other brands will be available.

It can be composted once dead (even untreated stuff can be if dug out and dried out to death before hand).

That's if you can be bothered with all the digging.
