V E Day

Had a reflective day and watched a few clips on tv plus Winstons speech, 7pm cracked open a bottle of blonde witch, next door neighbour was doing a BBQ so we decided to remove the fence panel so we could chat, ended up having great night bottle of wine and finished off with a large Jack Daniels, what with the weather etc was cracking day/night.

All i know about my grandad is that he got a military medal in 1943 and i only know that from googling

And thats just from a snippet in the london gazette, dont know what he did

Cleared off to be a missionary somewhere soon after the war

My mother's street, Astley Road in Bradshaw had a VE Day party yesterday. Mum's new best friend, a certain Nicholas Hunt moved in further down the street recently and was telling my mum how he wad looking forwards top being up against Bolton next session for Crewe.

I actually look forwards to welcoming him back to the stadium.

"Oh Nicky Hunt should play up front" and "We all dream of a team of Nicky Hunts" will bemuse the travelling Crewe supporters.

I'd hope Nicky gets a good reception here. Did a great job for us IMO

I do too. Many great players have had a song bestowed upon them by Bolton fans.

I can think of three for Nicholas

We all dream of a team of Nicky Hunts

Na na na na na na na, Nicky Nicky Hunt, Nicky Hunt, Nicky Nicky Hunt.

Crewe stand to be promoted as we are relegated….
