Right you bunch of gays.

Gardening. I’m ok at best, mrs gives me ideas but it’s the maintenance that I like keeping on top of.

The lawn has gone a bit discoloured and patchy, tips for that?

Best thing to use on weeds in between paving stones?

TMGJ, of course

Just leave the lawn alone for now, don't overmow it. Addrees it when we get some normal weather.

It seems to have gone a bit swamp like in parts, don’t really water it, but there are couple of streams around us, my neighbours looks like crown green bowling . It’s perfect.

We got a new lawn laid about a month or so  ago

Some of it looks scorched / dry in patches

On the advice of the gardeners who mow it for us, is to water it if not once then twice a day

But only first or last thing

Cept i don't know whether to give it a light sprinkle or drown it, the temptation is the latter

I'll ask again when they come round next week

they do it for £20 and have it all done in less than half an hour with their "industrial" equipment

Last time i did it it took 2 hours, i missed abit and got a mild electric shock from a wonky plug extension

Since I went freelance i judge all services on my hourly basis and expertise offered

Time is money, leave it to someone who knows what they're doing

We had a cleaner too but she was wank and I don't mind hoovering

But mowing the lawn, ironing and cleaning porcelain aren't my thing, so someone else can do them

Is it £20 all in or does it depend on the size of your garden. Not a Humble brag but our garden lawn is fuckin huge and your right it takes forever.
I’ll do everything else like.

Surely there's an expert or two on grass at the Mini-had?

Most lawn advice seems to be make sure it is aerated to the roots by spiking and scarified (raked) after mowing.

Keep trying to persuade maude to let me use wildflower mix. For the bees innit.

They did our smaller front and back for £20, cash in hand

We've moved and now have one big lawn round the back and they still only ask £20

30 mins max and they get a brew out of it, everyone is happy

Stuff they use isn’t safe for dogs. I said it collects a lot of water and they told me it could be a number of reasons. Close proximity to a stream, river or golfcourse? Yes to all 3.

Might ask a gypsy to tarmac the full fuckin lot

@Rudy’s Message get tmgj round to have a look.  Gave me advice on my garden and it’s honestly never looked as good. Like anything always look to professionals for advice.

I look to you for pisscan advice 😁

I couldn’t remember who the green thumb was on here but thought a gardening day thread would be good

We all have our uses 😁
