Old neighbour had 3 ferraris amongst others

One that caught my eye was a little bmw that he says was given to eddie Irvine

I think the doors disappeared underneath

E30’s are timeless for me and better looking than the modern beamers\

and jusT looked supra 326bhp standard

Yeah I agree, they’ve lost that edge a lot of them look the same now

The VW Corrado vr6 from around 1990 is surely a future classic, when did you last even see a Corrado?....

They all got snapped up, already a classic in many respects.

That Alfa is a lovely looking car.

Maybe a Focus RS or even a Fiat Abarth might be a lower risk investment?

That’s the issue mate you’re spot on. A classic is already priced as such. Need to find the next one. That’s the tricky bit

Very nice mate. I do love the AMG range.

Think I’m gonna buy a car and do it up. Mrs will go mad still not happy that I’ve not sold mine 😂

I spent my first 3 years post school doing my motor tech apprenticeship. Last year was working on classic Porsche’s. If you decide to go down that route let me know would be delighted to assist 👍🏼

TVR

Hmm, reliability issues but awesome looking and sounding cars, the Tuscan is appreciating rapidly. Wouldn't mind mind a TVR Sagaris!

I’ve helped my dad when he’s done up a couple of cars, golfs mainly, I know my way round an engine and know how it works, the newer the car the less I know about how they work because a lot of it is computers with newer cars, but I’ve thought about doing an old car up for ages.

Fixing that old lambretta up gave me the itch to do something bigger

Few of my mates worked at the plant in bispham. One was borrowed for some film in the US. Swordfish I think it was called.

The thing came back with bullet holes all over it.

They filled em, sprayed it and sold it on :)

Ever since I was 5 years old I have wanted a Porsche. I can't imagine I will ever get one, even a knackered old bucket

They’re actually really easy to work on. Well 944 , 924 and 928 are. 911 a bit more fiddly. Can pick up some really cheaply and just do them up over time. Another few years and I might get myself a project like that

Boxsters are cheap as fuck and I reckon if you shopped around you could get one in decent nick for £3k. No idea on prices for parts though.

Id want a 911

The father in law's best mate has had an amazing selection of cars over the years.

TVR Griffith and Aston DB5 are 2 of the nicest.

My favourite to play in though was his Mitsubishi Warrior pickup with all the toys. Which he picked up as a 'winter car' as his sports cars tended to go sideways once the roads got the tiniest bit of ice on them.

Still see a few Trevors driving about. Cerbera etc. Must be 20 years old and still look modern.

Anyway. I've got a 13 year old golf with a slow puncture and a warning light that popped on today. Future classic!

Make me an offer

They look shit without it.

Ooo... 928 please. 911 was/is my fave but the shark was a close second.

Air cooled the old 911’s so a bit more tricky but some machine

agree you can get boxsters cheap and parts are easy to pick up second hand.
