We have been warned by fans of previous clubs of our last 2 managers - Parky and Hill - about how bad it would be, and they were spot on. There should be a "Reviews" section on all football managers like there is on Travel Zoo. I'll put Hecky in the "dont want" box, your mention of 451 hoofball was all it took, thanks! The way he spoke, you just knew he would command respect. Sometimes a manager just fits - the right club at the right time. Can he do it when we’re gonna have to sign a load of freebies and loans? Evatt seems to have done a job most similar to ours, Barrow were shit and barely had a squad and he turned them around. Works for me. Beale sounds good out of the coaches options. Grayson, Powell, Clough, Heckingbottom, etc all seem like much of a muchness to me. He's clearly got qualities, and I'd get behind him, but I think what sets Evatt and Lowe apart is that you can just tell from their demeanour that they can be Mr Nice Guy one minute yet have the authority and respect to be Mr Angry with players and others the next. The Redknapps, Warnocks, Morinhos and Klopps have that about them. I could be talking nonsense, but that's something I don't see in Ricketts compared to the other 2, but he's not alone, I dont see that quality in most of the so-called candidates.
