Help needed, please!

I know it should be on another part of the site, but it's quite urgent and I don't have the time to wait for a response elsewhere.

Should be easier for someone with more tech knowledge than I have.

A website that I use every day for work has recently migrated servers (whatever?),  but I can't get my PC to see the new version of the site, but my laptop can. How do I get my PC to see the new site?

I've cleared cookies and cache, rebooted my router, flushed my dns, turned it off and on again, tried different browsers etc all to no avail.

Please help, it's driving me mad and it's stopping me from working properly.

Laptop and PC use same server ?

When we had this issue with the new version of websites dripping out it was basically because the servers had not updated the site.

I'm at home trying to access a site that has migrated to a new server.

My laptop can get onto the new site, my PC

I've had similar probs with a German based web server, had to use a vpn from Germany for a day whilst the ip range propagated across all the service providers.

Check your hosts file for a static ip address

Edit - just seen you fixed it - at least I was right :)

Don’t want an IT guy rooting around your hard drive pal

Correct. It'd be a new PC before I went to a repair shop 😉

Thanks, though.
