Pubs next weekend - Yay or Nay?

And it’s the absolute work of out of touch fuckwits that have no idea what a Saturday night in a town centre is like to reopen pubs on a Saturday.

Edit. Just seen crawshaw made the same point. Totally agree

The sort of pubs that serve food may have a chance of making it work, more compliant and willing customers, but IMO, boozers less so. The sort of pubs where people go to get good and drunk will be fucking hard work and over run with folk either forgetting or just not giving a shit about the situation within about 4 pints I reckon. For that reason I'll be leaving it for a bit of yet, and I'm also someone who visits the pub pretty much everyday.

The food pubs tend to be bigger as well. My nearest is a boozer and its really pretty cramped. Whereas the big, rather soulless food pubs look to be much easier to configure.

I'd be happier outside at present if the sun's out. My Brother in law manages a sports club and reckons they have the largest beer garden in the area. So if there's good weather he's hoping to bring in a fair few new members.

I’m going to the cricket club for couple, it’s all been sorted well and an app for ordering click and collect, it all sounds a bit odd however, liking the idea of a pint with the lads, we trained on Thursday night and had a couple of beers (from a cool box we brought) on the outfield afterwards and it was nice to feel that bit of normality.

we’ve also booked a hotel for our anniversary end of July and meal at the Manchester gin place.

be very interesting to see how it develops

No from me

Enjoyed drinking at home tbh

All these that can't wait for a 'proper pint' why? It's usually just watered down piss. Very hard to get a decent pint these days

Stop drinking carling

Black edge brewery near me make beer on the premises and it’s delicious.

Edit: you scouse cunt.

Most of the pubs aren't being very clear about the restrictions. Mate who owns backstreet boozer received 50 page document via licensing authority with rules on spacing , cleaning etc. and not allowed to show sports or have music above low volumeHe's staying closed for another couple of weeks to see how it pans out.

delicious?  only if you are a gayer like casino

Drinking Sköl on some godforsaken, disease-ridden trawler in the Med for 3 weeks means your opinion doesn’t count.

Im on about fresh ale, not the “selection” of sugar syrups they tell you are cocktails, or the wine that most french people use to get the squeaks out of the hinges on their hay barns.

No pub for me for a few weeks.

The point of a boozer is a relaxed day/night out not a regimented exercise. Night will start will jobsworths tutting when you pat a mate on the back and with people tripping over each other.
