Escobarp
Totally reliant on player sales for wages as many suspected. Tick tock Edited August 13, 2020 by Escobarp
DomRepWanderer
Surprised no other club has thought of this. That’s the best solution get liquidated pay nobody that’s owed any money then come back as The Wigan Start at league 2 easy peasy been done before and it works . Johnnyrotten
I wonder if the £2 million from Cardiff is paid up front? It seems normal to stagger the payments, as Wigan have done with Barnsley, there's no incentive for Cardiff to pay more than a "deposit" initially. That's not going to help pay wages for long. Johnnyrotten
They've sold Chey Dunkley to Sheff Wed, "undisclosed". From one points deduction to another...

Administrators won’t be selling anyone unless the full payment is made now. They’re only selling to get cash in their bank account straight away, so they won’t be interested in instalments. Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted August 13, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted August 13, 2020 North West Tonight briefly touched upon the statement by the admins- the bit about not starting the season in admin- seems a clear warning. barrycowdrill
Simply putting pressure on the ‘interested parties’ to move it along I remember ours coming out on a Sat to get things concluded by Monday otherwise they’d start winding up. Granted ours was some way down the road but the more the try and push these parties the more they’ll back away. no fucker is going to be rushed in to a deal in a fortnight hand over £100k exclusivity with no guarantees, still have to slash a massive wage bill and sell other assets, with no sign of when any income is coming in. No chance

Escobarp
Ours was 25k non refundable for access to the data room which if they went forward would be offset against purchase price. this is 100k to sign the contract and if during the diligence/completion process they find something that makes them walk away the 100k is lost. Thanks but no thanks.
barrycowdrill
And that 100k pays 20% of their failed appeal. Only £400k outstanding 🤣

Same will go for every player they are selling. It’s a car boot sale effectively.

Escobarp
They must pay all football creditors in full. And a minimum % to all other creditors I believe or the golden share gets withheld and therefore they’re fucked. but in reality they are looking fucked

Traf
If had £100k to spare, I'd sign the exclusivity clause and drag the fucker out until withdrawing at the last minute. Justgiving page, anyone?
