At one stage Bury fans were convinced that Celtic were going to buy them out IIRC.

He had no connection to the town but just wanted to help apparently. Perhaps he was familiar with the world famous market? Bassini is a good example of the kind of loons and dreamers that start sniffing around ailing clubs.
Andy Gee 28
Protest tomorrow at the DW, not sure what exactly they are protesting but hope the Sky cameras show up.

Whitesince63 31
Seems the American outfit want the club but just not the ground, which is too big, too costly and not necessary. I can see them playing somewhere else like Rotherham and Brighton did until a new, smaller, more appropriate ground can be sourced. Makes perfect sense to me and could be the best option for them. leigh white 470
I never knew we had a rivalry with Wiggin, to me it was always Blackburn when we rocked up in the 70s to Ewood.

Don't think this American outfit exists or haven't put in any kind of offer yet. That is probably why they have to sell the ground and training ground to other people because time is running out. frank_spencer 622
Part of me feels sorry for the Wigan fans as i remember how shitty it was when we were going through all this shite.
