Well if it helps to identify clearly racist fans they could be banned from stadiums. So it could be effective in that respect.

So booing means your racist?

Has anyone thought because Football as been devoid of fans for so long that some just want to get back to normality, you know, teams run out to a bit of music, shake hands, stadium announcer runs through the teams and we kick off, fans sing and have a bit of Bantz throughout the game, win, lose or draw, game over, it's just football, we go to the next one.

Not sure why the players kneeling for a few seconds would spoil things for you?

By all means, if folk don't agree with it then just ignore it. Can't get my head round booing it. Whilst those doing the booing might not be racists, they certainly come across that they are. They're ultimately booing the players for making a stance that all lives are equal and there is no room for racism. Why boo that?

Why do you think they are booing then?

Because they disagree with the whole thing  you can’t say because someone boos they’re racist

Oh he can.

The reason that vote posted previously yielded such figures, is because folk are fed up of being told they are racist.

As for Millwall, like others they have some knucke daggers and some who are just pissed off with the whole thing.

Just go to the game and enjoy the product and the fact that it is being produced by arguably the most diverse sport in the country.

The players aren’t even kneeling for the BLM political group apparently, they are doing it for anti racism. The fans aren’t booing anti racism, they are booing the political BLM group

Time to strip the BLM element out of it, let kick it out take its place, keep the knee if needs be and folk want to continue it. The BLM brand is toxic for many, anti racism isn't an issue

The players take a knee to highlight racial inequality. It’s about anti-racism in sport. I can only think of one reason why individuals would boo that. The most abhorrent set of supporters in UK football, their reputation goes before them. Open your eyes, it’s indefensible.

They take the knee to support BLM

Some May support the political side of it, some may not, it’s hard to differentiate really as the name is exactly the same

The fans were booing the political element if it, which is fair enough, politics has no place in football, especially extreme politics

If the players aren't supporting the BLM political ideology then fair do’s, ignore the boos then, they ain’t for you

Yes they have a reputation

but folk are bored by it so if they boo or turn backs doesn’t make them racists and it won’t just be millwall if it continues

How about let's just get on with the football.... seriously, at this moment in time it would be a breath of fresh air.

If anybody in the ground makes racist references against a person of colour (hope that's correct), throw them out, ban them for life!

The football happens the same time as it would regardless, it only takes a few seconds.

It takes a few seconds. They should not go to the game if it bothers them that much.

Ok, let’s play that thinking through

If it was a Nazi solute would it bother you? It would only take a few seconds! Of course the time involved isn’t the issue, the politics is

It’s a symbol supporting a political group from the extreme left, who are anti capitalist amongst other things

Fuck BLM

However, if the players want to support kick it out ahead of each game in order to show support for anti racism then they can crack on

Its causing division, like it is on here, it's now getting tedious and boring.

It’s not a problem to me, a white bloke in his 50s. If the players and clubs are united in doing it then it is evidence of solidarity not division.

If all our clubs decided to do a pre-game nazi salute I wouldn’t go to a game again.

I agree with your last paragraph. If the players and clubs support this it is good enough for me. Nothing to with BLM.
