Mr Grey 748
Like I have stated before, IE stays for the length of his contract at least, I have every confidence in this fella, small steps, long term project. His football is decent, however he needs some harder players, the type who are going to get in the opposition's and refs face. This soft as fuck shit has been engrained in our club far to long, we need some winners in January.

I’m not a nay sayer but this team doesn’t play to its strengths and I think today I’ve realised he’s unlikely to change and a part of me worries that him having full reign on players coming in etc. I think he’s probably a good manager but he isn’t going to change it for a long time at Bolton and we don’t have that time
Site Supporter Biggish Dave 540 Posted December 12, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted December 12, 2020 I’d like Evatt given until at least this time next year before making judgement. Sacking him this season would be a nonsense imo

Keep the faith.

You're very generous I think so, we’re not in a position to purchase players quickly we need to be patient, build a squad and put some foundations in place, similar to what phil Neal did before Bruce took it on. We are easy to carve open and we seem to have to work hard to score. For me that’s not a good combo. I don’t think their keeper made a save yesterday. We have some decent players up top and they barely get a sniff. Walsall barely had to work up a sweat to our score us.

If we aren’t down/pissed off at potentially our worst season in our history I’m unsure when we are supposed to be.

You look at Barrows turnaround. They go from losing to winning every game. They got better and more consistent for longer periods. Our squad is small and talent levels D4 standard. Another 6/ 7 points from next 4 games, then we have a transfer window. I'm sure that IE already has players lined up and that some may shipped out. No one likes losing, but this is the first time the club has survived administration, been under a two year embargo with points deductions and changes of ownership/managers and a full squad in its history. We're looking upward, not down (at last). Rome wasn't built etc.....

I worry we are going to Blackpool reunited now he has free reign and we will still have full backs who can’t cross to save their lives. Making the system fairly redundant.
