ErnestTurnip
Don't know if they still do but Warbies used to use a load of bagged and bulk flour from Hovis in their main products, either that or they just bought flour in Hovis sacks and filled their silos with stuff out of Hovis tankers. Site Supporter Steejay Posted July 4, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted July 4, 2020 Unless you’ve been a supplier to the big supermarkets, you’ve no idea what cunts they are. Milk, bread, produce, all of these suppliers are ground down to their knees. They don’t give a fuck about businesses going under, they just want to increase profits. One of her clients was that brewery on Princess Parkway. They took her on a tour one day, the morning after she’d got shitfaced. Took her in the part of the brewery where they recovered the yeast products to sell on for Marmite, etc. It didn’t end well....

A huge amount to answer for. Just hoping that this pandemic has helped the smaller supplier/farm shop gain some more custom.
