McAnespie.

Raith will always love us.
We paid for the roof over their East stand.

Hey Stevie, if there’s ever a million pound player, it wasn’t you.

Leave the poor lad alone, he's still receiving physio to untangle himself after trying to mark Glenn Helder 😊

Allan Johnston (albeit on loan from Sunderland) and Paul Ritchie both did well under SA as well.

Was proper gutted we couldn’t get them to stay after their pre contract agreements with Rangers. Both excellent for us.

I really rated Ritchie especially.  I've just checked and he only played 14 games for us, then he went to City but never seemed to settle anywhere (Pompey/Walsall/Dundee Utd).  Didnt make an appearance for Rangers, what a waste that he didnt stay with us.

We didn't do badly with signings from Scotland. Coyle, Walker and Mixu.

For every good one there was a shit one if we also throw in Steve McAnespie (bar his debut)

Good job we failed with our bid for Alan Hansen, how shit was he?? 😁

we didn't try to sign Alan

Its worse than that

We wanted his brother John, who agreed to come but only if we signed his younger brother on at the same time

We said, no thanks

Him and the loony Chic Charnley both came with big reputations but both were shite.

I liked Chic charnley ....saw him at preston 2-2 on the astrocrap , pretty sure no-one tackled him .
Always amused me that we had a player that would take a chainsaw to an opponent at any given second.
