England have done brilliantly so far this summer in all forms of the game.
Interesting to see how far we’ve come in the 50 over format playing Australia this week. Without Stokes as well. Big loss for us.

This is a great team, with strength in depth and completion for places.

And off to a good start

I guess you’d need to be watching to know what you’re on about.

listening sounds like we've been shite.

I wonder if all this isolation bubbling, covid secure environments etc has taken its toll.

Butter hadn't seen his family for 10 weeks until the other day.

Must get pissed off with it after a while.

Perhaps he’d be better off not tripping off to the IPL?

Always a bone of contention this for lots of players. Though in fairness, covid wasn't around then.

Or not picking up his wages for the game and going home.

He got permission and as a centrally contracted player, I would imagine his wages will be paid whether selected or not.

I think it was a fair shout

No more risky than over 48, which worked

Its a nothing game and both Morgan and Rashid learned something

The defeat is on Buttler and Archer, imo

Commentators were somewhat surprised. A great death bowler who had done particularly well previously in Tom Curran was ignored.

Rashid had already been panned earlier and was described on commentary as looking shaky.

Was a strange decision.
