Lt. Aldo Raine
Indeed it is. Up there with the one with the train running along the top of the embankment.

Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted July 11, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted July 11, 2020 I don’t remember the embankment being rammed to often in my lifetime. I do remember dad took me to Wolves game in 77 and I remember the geordies filling 2/3 of it in 81ish but other than that, don’t remember it too full. A fine sight in full occupancy. embankment
It was a fine sight even half full. Going back to Jack. I have been trying to work out if i saw him play at Burnden . Will have to get the book out and check

Pretty sure the Embankment was full that night too. Not sure if Charlton played in that? As an aside, can anyone rustle up that video where the kid hits big Jack in the bollocks with the football? Piss funny.
