Sunday night babysitting, watching one summer, and then spitting image.
The sound of that shite theme tune off the south bank show then signalled the end of the weekends enjoyment and that yet again it was too late to start any homework

think that’s life featured on Sundays too, nothing like a cock and balls shaped potato to make you realise the weekend was on the wain

One summer

Certainly was, that and Scully too, which I remember as being similar but probably because they were both Liverpool settings in reality

I remember Scully back in the day , not sure if that was a sunday evening show ? , also a mid eighties show called Help , that was set in Liverpool as well , probably all falling in behind the Boys from the Black stuff .

No don’t think it was Sunday, only remember one summer being so due to baby sitting , wouldn’t have a clue otherwise!

Another BBC production, probably from the same writer (Willie Russell), was Our Day Out. A school outing to Conway Castle, North Wales where the scousers nicked animals from the zoo. (Amongst other things)
