leigh white
Never tasted it before until last week with the starter, usually get red onions, mango chutney and yoghurt with poppadoms. A very strong flavour but bitter and hot and yet tasty.
SatanGreavsie
When I read the title, I assumed you'd got yourself into a bit of a pickle at Lime Street station. Again.

Members bolty58
The MD of the company I currently work for (now retired) was born in Wolverhampton but moved to Oz at around 4 years old. Funny bastard - always bigging it up about something or other just in the interests of good banter I might add. Plenty of stories about the interchanges between me and him but one relates to lime pickle. Bit of a meat and potatoes man he is and used to like to rib me about my liking for Indian food. Finally got him to come along to the Royal India one lunchtime and, of course, everything was "That's not fucking hot"; "Call that hot? I've had hotter black pepper" etc. Until he got to the lime pickle. That shut the fucker up

ErnestTurnip
Thinking further about it I can take or leave a pickled egg, sometimes get one as a cheeky extra when we do chippy day at work but could live without em.

Agreed. I don’t think they’ll ever become a staple food group but as an occasional one off not bad. Iceland (place not shop) have some fucking shite pickled. You tend to let your nose decide what you’re going to like.
