Addictive mobile games

Never been one for gaming, got a PS4 which the kids use - tried to get into them but I haven't got the time to spend 100 hours on a game - that fifa one needs more practice than learning an instrument. Anyway so I've never downloaded a mobile game, but refound Kevin Toms Star Football Manager. This is when games were good, didn't need to trawl through spreadsheets, and I'd forgotten how addictive it was. Currently on 7th season, although I've got an aging forward line 😆

Don’t think I have any games on my phone, used to have angry birds and Simpson’s tapped out but none anymore

Love my PS4, got to a good standard at FIFA, got invited to a competition where the prize money for winning the whole tournament was £100k. Couldn’t go because of work but wouldn’t have won it anyways.
Have a League at work. Some serious prep work that have fixtures and a full season decent money at that, won it a few seasons ago, gone a bit off the boil now

Thats what I mean, takes hours of practice.  Finish work at say 7.30/8 - don't want to start that. Mind you I'm.in bed by 10 😁

Because I travel a lot with work i need something to occupy my night, and brasses aren’t cheap

Books, man, books! (or TV porn takes up at lest 15 minutes so I'm told)  Sorry, such a luddite when it comes to games, although I did like Lemmings at uni - maybe because it was ace when you were stoned. No rushing about....

If you like them, give this a try - set in Lancashire and won the costa first book award, The Loney https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/25458371-the-loney

Or I enjoyed His Bloody Project - about a trial of a young man who commited a triple murder in the Highlands as a crofter https://thebookerprizes.com/books/his-bloody-project-by-graeme-macrae-burnet

All got a bit of atmosphere to them, with a few thrills as well.

Not read many sports books - enjoy the damned utd, and All Played Out. Mentioned before about Inverting the Pyramid but that's like an academic text and Thirty-One Nil is a great book about the nobodies of global football. Think that's it though - about from also having a copy of Kevin Keegan's to hand if I ever need cheering up.

I'd love it, really love it 😊
