I work with a member of the coaching/management team at FC United, he reckons if we drew them away, out of the 600 crowd allowed,  we’d be allocated 45 😂.

Now that would be a scramble.

If we drew them at home, obviously nobody (other than officials). He was saying how disappointing it would be drawing us/one of the big boys like Sunderland away and firstly not having fans there then secondly not maximising the money they would have potentially made.

There's absolutely no way in the memory of man that they'd be allowed any home fans, it would be behind closed doors for all concerned.

The lack of gate receipts - and halving of prize money - has certainly made a cup run a lot less lucrative this season.

It would however be televised

I feel angry for the loads of clubs that have drawn crap ties about 250 miles away.  OK the draw cant be split perfectly north and south but its a piss take in these desperate times to ask these skint small clubs to travel so far for a game they make nothing out of if they lose (other than a few grand prize money).  Its like we're deliberately speeding up the demise of clubs.  Swindon v Darlington, Cheltenham v South Shields, Colchester v Marine.  What a joke.

There is scope for late withdrawals due to Covid, thereby saving costly travel.

Banbury have missed out most. They will be cross.
