What did Ian Brown call him, a busker or summat? Another one who’s had a good experience with Clint Boon too, he played my mate’s wedding cos they worked at XFM together at the time and was quality when I mithered him. On DJ’s I’ve mentioned this before on here Years back but I once spent a day and evening with Chris Evans and he was a brilliant bloke; not a common opinion I know but really down to earth and a quality laugh

Not in Crawley
There has been so few famous musicians that I've met who are decent. I don't think they aren't but when they are with me they are working or promoting something, some folk are better than that than others. I went to watch Chris Helme, Mark Morris, and Nigel Clark in Preston last year and they sat at our table for most of the night (apart from getting up to do their sets). Nigel Clark is bonkers, but another very nice bloke. Edited October 16, 2020 by Cheese

Site Supporter MickyD Posted October 17, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted October 17, 2020 Any celebrity who doesn’t find time for the fans is a cunt. I much prefer those with the humility to realise that without the fans, their celebrity status would soon disappear.
Ani
Used to spend a decent amount of time with Rob Heaton who was the drummer with New Model Army. You could not meet a nicer more down to earth bloke. I watched Live Aid at his house. He is now sadly dead.
