Sorry my mistake, we cant get anyone till Jan now, except out of contract.  Bottom line is its an error to think Crellin is a nailed on No 1, its a mistake to not at least have reasonable competition for him.

Agreed

If we had matthews or Alnwick, I'd give him a rest but he's getting no help

No clue what formation we were playing since I only started watching at 30mins in.

Some moments in that game that we actually looked like a team for the first time. Other moments looked like it was our first 3 games again with some SHITE defending.

Freekick goal can't say much, maybe GK couldve got there.

Second goal, Baptiste and Crellin at huge fault. Shit header from Baptiste and Crellin gets in no mans land then leaves it too late to sprint back to goal. Shite.

Comley getting a lot of hate and rightly so, but the last 10 mins he was good and looked more like what I expected him to be like, looked suddenly more confident. Where has that been that last 6 games?

Nice delivery from Crawford for our first but other than that didn't offer much.

Their 3rd goal, Baptiste again at fault. Loses his man while either trying to play offside or just falling asleep. STOP FUCKING PLAYING HIM. (did look a bit offside though)

Gnahoua what a breath of fresh air, managed to dribble and keep the ball and actually beat his man. Great left footed delivery on a plate for Doyle. Be great if he could start.

Dare I say Darcy improved the midfield massively. More energy, still good delivery and that equaliser he should get a lot of credit for. Good corner delivery and then when he got it back another great delivery, drops to Sarce and BANG credit where it's due. Good finish from the fat bastard.

Hopefully this is the turning point COYFW!!!!

Should be the best midfielder in this league at 50% of his ability. He’s not trying. Something drastically wrong.

interesting tonight that sarcevic didn’t run over to the bench when he scored to the guy who made him Captain of our club?

it’s either he wouldn’t have made it to the bench as he’s not got that long a sprint in him or all isn’t happy in the camp.

He fell over. 😂

Is the absence of a keeper on the bench a proactive choice? Either way it's piss poor

I remember moaning at megson for having two on the bench at Chelsea on the last day, just in case

Didn't bother following it. Think it was definitely the right move.

Those that watched it- is it worth giving young Riley a go?

Yeah he had a blinder in the cup. Can't be worse than Sarcevic or Crawford, they're anonymous like playing with 9 men. 8 if you include baptiste.

I’d prefer to see Crellin, Brockbank,Baptiste and Comley  out of the team.

spot on and most of us were saying that (Crellin no choice but should never have been our main goalie) before the game.

mentioning Rioch in same breath is laughable as well. i was at Chester away absolutely nothing like this. This is just awful from top to bottom and Evatt needs to recognise it. Either compromises in short term or there is no long term for him here. woeful defending. i thought that had been improving little by little according to some?

For Comley to look decent last 10 minutes isnt good enough, if he played as bad as everyone said how is he still on? (when Tutte's on bench).  It sounds like Crawford had a poor game but he did get hooked, the same rules dont apply to Comley and Sarcevic, another that everyone was saying was dire. I like what I've seen of Gnahoua, but like Darcy he's another not getting a chance even when we're chasing a goal - total 15 minutes previous 2 games, with the full backs relied on for attacking momentum instead.  We can give him time, we can be optimistic, but its really stretching it to say IE is getting the most out of this squad.

Crawford is back up the m6/m74 every weekend to Scotland as soon as is possible. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him go in January doesn’t look interested

He is poor,   everything looks lethargic,  does he think he is better than he is,  strolls round like hes Glenn hoddle then plays a pass to the steward in row 12.

People say "he's a professional coach, he knows best".  I defy anyone to say that's the decision any other manager would make game after game.  OK he was making a statement at Harrogate about how well they had all trained and wanted to reward them, I'll sort of give him that one.  Now it just looks silly, 4 left footed defenders on the bench and 3 dont get on, and why would they?

People love saying 'out of his depth'.
