Gnahaoua played 90 minutes

Hes backing sarcevic to come good, its a fair shout

Yeah I know he played, stood in for the unavailable Fonz, there were literally no other options as shown by the bench.  As you said, could we not have all 3 playing, that's what I would have too, at least give it a try.  But with Comley and reliance on fullbacks to supply the crosses, there isnt room.  He just looks more threatening from the little I've seen of him.

People say "he's a professional coach, he knows best".  I defy anyone to say that's the decision any other manager would make game after game.  OK he was making a statement at Harrogate about how well they had all trained and wanted to reward them, I'll sort of give him that one.  Now it just looks silly, 4 left footed defenders on the bench and 3 dont get on, and why would they?

Warnock does it.

Like ive said, itd be nice to hear his thinking

Is alexander fit?

Can gilkes still get up off the floor

Dunno but its a question thumbhead should be asking

This made me smile. Please don’t confused the esteemed thumb head with a journalist with half a brain. It’s a dangerous trap to fall into

Crellin wouldn’t get in some conference north teams. I think IE actually signs players who he has seen have one good day. He can’t of had a decent scouting setup at Barrow and Tobias is just winging it.

He was at Chorley last season I think, didn’t set world on fire.

He was there a few weeks, played 9 games

They were happy with him

But I dont think he's old enough to play with matches

The thing about Crellin is his lack of judgement .Their guy who scored the third goal was put more or less clean through & Crellin just ran out into no man's land .All the Barrow lad had to do was lob him  , fortunately he fckd it up by taking the ball wide.At 1-4 its game over.

Not having a second goalie to challenge him is not healthy.

This is pub standard. We've dropped a looonnnggg way. Its gonna take time.

Trouble is, he wont get with bulk of our fans, we've got to stick with this lad and give him time.

This isn't us playing Villa or Fulham in the Championship while not paying the players, or being -12 with a bunch of kids in League One.

We've spent more money than anyone in the division on poaching a manager and two of last years top performing players - and we've won one out of 10. Against Harrogate Town.

I'd love to give Evatt time, but the team need to show some signs of life to earn it - considering the budget we had that'd mean mid-table as the absolute minimum.

Maybe tonight was a start, but fuck me the bar is low.

7 points off the playoffs and 10 points off autos after 7 games.

Doesn't take long to fall behind but hopefully we can catch up quickly too. Need a good run of 5 or 6 games soon.

9/10 Average Joe Blogs fans can see where our weak spots in the team are.

I never got us signing Crellin why bring Another teams goalkeeper here. Mathews sounded like he wanted to stay and Phoenix should have got him signed up for this season before approaching Evatt.

Three centre backs could work with the  wing backs. Again we have to ask about recruitment we have 8 on our books.

If Taft or Greenidge are not as good as Baptiste we are in trouble.

Both Mascoll and Gordon are at least 18 months off first team football. This is for me our weakest spot

Until Evatt can find a solution for lwb we will struggle week in week out

Comley reminds me off a poor Phil Neville. Never goes forward and commits way to many niggly stupid fouls.

The rest of the midfield are struggling  on form, but you would think Crawford, Sarcevic can only improve.

Up front we seem ok Fonz and Doyle have not missed chances, they have done ok with the service they have had.

Come Christmas time i would expect only 4/5 to start who started tonight

Agreed

If we had matthews or Alnwick, I'd give him a rest but he's getting no help

Alnwick out of contract - as are Howard & Lonergan. One keeper I quite rate also out of contract is Jordan Archer. Could be worth offering any of these a short term deal

I would have to agree on Crellin, should have caught the loose ball on the 2nd goal and gave far to much space to hit for the 3rd. He is gifting goals every other game at present and while we are not scoring, that means a defeat.

To be fair, we’re not alone here, Liverpool bought Bogdan based on a cracking game he had at Anfield in FACup.
