Feel disappointed we’ve only got a point, which turning that into a positive bodes well for moving forward. We should have won against a form, possibly one of the best teams so far this season. As Jules said above apart from Crellin (who I have an element of sympathy for, up until that point he’d looked fine and confident and the conditions would have caused many a keeper a problem) we looked very good today.

A very good performance,  we made a really in form team look very ordinary .

A special mention and a huge slice of Humble pie from me must go to Santos , he was a colossus and kept their top striker firmly in his pocket. He just gets better every week. Also a big mention to Kioso he has transformed our attacking play tremendously since he joined.

Santos and Delaney for me look like they are getting a decent understanding together. Sure they still have a mistake in them but that’s our best partnership at the back.

Lets see if Greenidge slots in to make the 3

If we can get the 3rd centre back right I don't think we will look back.

A decent keeper and LB, we’re not too far away.

Brockbank is actually better at LB than the 2 we’ve signed from what I’ve seen. His obvious flaw is being right footed but still better than them 2

Definitely

Youll get the random cockend who refuses to have a good word for him, but hes had 2 good games now

He can pass and he keeps us in possession

Hopefully, one of the other 2 comes through, but for now, hes ok

Don't make excuses for that piece of goalkeeping. He's a professional footballer. It was embarrassing. It's not the first mistake he's made either.

as for crellin, for his own good, it may be time for a sit down

Awful ball to have to deal with in the conditions, but he has to be shaken after that

Id also say that folk writing off keepers at 20 never saw jussi at 20 odd

Not taking in context the actual game that's a great point.

Thought Brockbank looked miles off in real time but seeing a still of it now, hes onside!

Crellin owes Sarcevic one big time, great finish again from him.

its strange, but Sarcevics goal meant Crellins mistake cost us two points rather than one.

But, yes, it takes osme heat off him.

Best performance of the season, by far. Look to start getting towards a settled starting XI.

Are you really trying to justify his output over the last few weeks? The guy has gone, waste of a shirt in that formation,

I've not watched last 2 games, so no I'll accept he's played poorly, although he was our best midfielder in the first half last Saturday (that wasn't difficult). Just saying he's created 2 goals, and considering how few we've been scoring this season the potential to create would have to be replaced like for like and not by someone like Comley.

With the way the season has shaped thus far it looks like we are better on our travels. Not sure if this is one of the weird elements of COVID-world along with the scorefests seen in the Prem or whether our League 2 players are struggling playing on a grander stage to those they are used to. Or maybe the opposition are hugely raising their game when they come to Bolton

I'll feel a lot happier about our prospects once we've strung together some good results at home. For now though today is a very encouraging performance and result and a much better Saturday night feeling than this time last week. Hope Doyle isn't too badly hurt.

I agree but if the spare keeper can't make it to the bench, can't see him getting a game

He has cost us a few times now crellin , it is baffling that there is no one pushing him for his place really need competition , if he gets rested/dropped it has to be gilks stepping up.

Yep, the goal should have stood - and therefore people shouldn’t be critical of Sarcevic, he takes that first time he may have missed, he passes it to the onside Brockbank who was in a better position to finish. That was Sarcevics best game today, a big positive.

And Yes Crellin Owens Sarcevic big time.

Tutte very good today, does the simple things well. I’m not as critical as some in Crawford, he’s always looking to be positive and create something.

Brockbank did really well today. If he was left footed there wouldn’t be any discussion about whether he’s right there or not.
