Gilks - did sod all apart from yell a lot. Not even sure he bothered getting a touch on that cross that hit the bar

Baptiste - ran loads, tackled, headed. Must be absolutely knackered at his age after this shift

Santos - man mountain this lad who scared us to death a while back.  Tho' shalt not pass

Delaney - just get rid of it down that line. That'll do lad

Jones - grow a left foot, but if you keep running, that ball ain't coming back any time soon

Sarcevic - last night's kebab played it's toll but broke up play and 'got rid of it'

Tutte - 'kin excellent lad.  Long may it continue

Kioso - he'll sleep well tonight.  Up, down, up , down, up, down, goal.  Those were the days

Delfonso - pain in the arse last couple of games but a wiggle and a pass and we've scored.  All forgiven

Doyle - at his age he needs it on a plate.  Came looking for scraps but didn't get fed.  He will tho

Crawford - like that bird in the disco you'll never pull, frustrates your arse off but hopeful that one day it'll happen

Subs - think I saw some blond hair lads running around but a few too many ports to be certain

First 11 sorted!

Liking your player ratings fella

bang on about Crawford

I said it at the weekend and I’ll say it again, Santos should be put into midfield with Sarse to run at players, they shit themselves going anywhere near our lads, they steamroll through teams them two, I love Santos runs forward.  Obviously get another defender first mind.

Leave Santos ‘The Man Mountain’ where he is - our best defender by far!

Didn't see tonight's game, but whenever I've seen Fonz, I've not been impressed. That said, we've got a team doing well so can understand his presence in the 11.

Yes Delfounseo had an awful first half tonight. I would have taken him off at ht. Then he came out and had a great 20 minutes and made the goal with a great piece of skill. I want to see more of the latter from him because it will make a huge difference to us in the final third.

Santos is doing such a good job in the centre of defence, it would be fucking madness to move him.

Good solid performance from the lads , up there with the Cambridge performance for me .

Tutte , Santos , and Baptiste the stand out performers  , but in fairness everyone worked their socks off and even during Scunthorpe's good spell we pretty much looked controlled . Roll on Saturday and Southend .

For the last half a dozen games or so, we’ll show a passage of play maybe 3 or 4 times in a match, where our passing and movement is nice to watch and the opposition can’t live with us. If we can increase the amount of times this happens during a game, then we’ll romp up the table. I’ve not seen one other team yet in this division that are anywhere near capable of playing the way we do when it clicks.

I'd guess evatts frustration with last night would be that when they were open towards the end and we broke really well on them, we didn't kill them off

3 or 4 nil could have been the final score

We probably don't need more than 3 or such bouts of good play. We just need to be more clinical in front of goal and also maybe shoot a little more often instead of looking for that one final killer pass?

Keepers in this league are shit, we're still not testing them enough.

According to Neil Cox after game comments, he says we easily have the best front 4 in the division. Doyle and Fonz definitely, what I'm wondering is which are the other two, is it Crawford and Sarc or does Kioso come into the reckoning.

Anyway it's been many a season since an opposition manager has given our players plaudits.

I get the impression that Kioso was sent out to point out that IE isn't a bully boy with Crellin but says the right thing at the right time.

It’s certainly Doyle, Crawford, Sarcevic and Delfouneso he’s referring to. And I completely agree. Kioso and Jones also offer us something going forward too.

Didn’t see last night, but I’ve come to the realisation that Delfouneso really is integral to this XI when on form. A player I never really rated before he came.
