Not looking forward to the bill...... A service is part of the MOT? I once had a car with a rusty hole over the rear wheel arch. The guy at the garage told me to cover it with duct tape so he couldn’t see it. MOT passed.
Members Rudy
Don’t let them charge you for wipers for gods sake
DazBob
That doesn't sound like a bad MOT at all. Forget the cost of the service as that's nothing to do with your MOT.

Members Rudy
There is a theory that tyres and brake pads should never need changing at the same time, but there’s a lot of contributing factors to that

Burndens Bogs
Tyres,Brake Pads,Wipers - all consumables, if the vehicle is 5 years old or over, then that's a fairly decent Mot result.

H
Mine passed last week. Eleven years old nothing needed. A couple of years back it needed wipers. The garage had already fitted them when I went to collect but only charged me for the parts (reasonable) nothing for fitting.

Fair enough. Just hate spending money on the car. Just boring. Oh and they've not charged me for fixing the seat, just gave me a telling off.
