Not sure why they batted on so long and at a relatively sedate pace.

Any, done now- a big job on tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Should win by about 100-150?

Hope I'm wrong, but I reckon it will be a draw.

No, you might be right.

I think there will be enough wicket-taking balls to get us home.

nip and tick, though.

Then it starts again, in Chennai again, early Saturday.

Remember Botham commenting on a very similar situation a few years back. Think it was in the West Indies, but not sure.

He reckoned they'd left the declaration too long: the opposition were 9 down at the close.

I'd rather that than losing

KP was tweeting that Root had waited too long.

Time will tell!

All the fuss about when/if to declare well and truly put to bed.

Batters and bowlers all playing their part in a fantastic victory. India will come back stronger. No Butler next game is there? And talk of Broad coming back in, so a different England team, this  will be a very good test of our squad

Great win

Will only get harder now

We’ll see

India will be under increasing pressure. I think fans are attending the next test.

Win the toss, bat forever.

50% of capacity

Can't really see social distancing being observed there, even with 50% capacity.

What happens if a six lands in the stand, about a dozen of them scrabble around for it as they want to be the one that throws it back?

Disinfect the ball before carrying on?

Seems a bit bonkers, considering the players themselves can't shine the ball with body fluid any more.

It does seem a tad liberal/risky to me
