Would you abandon Kioso entirely for one poor game ? He's looked a cut above, generally, so far..

It really wasn’t Kioso’s fault for the first goal; Baptiste should have been marking the other guy but was asleep near our goal line and also should have cut out the cross

I like Evatt and hope he gets it right.

He has to take blame for shipping six at home and the general state of the defence still. Its his tactics his 'wingbacks' his goalkeeping situation (not blaming gilks but he went down like a sack of spuds for a couple showing his age). Pretty sure a change of tactics could tighten up at the back and we really do need another Tutte in midfield.  Going forward we can blow teams away but so so vulnerable at the back.

Agree he wasn't the only one at fault for number one but he couldve looked interested

Fwiw, I'd be very, very surprised if we make more than one change

White back in

There’s an argument to say that White comes in for Crawford.

I still think that we are playing Sarcevic out of position to accommodate Crawford, who is playing terribly! Sarcevic is a number 10 that’s currently playing in a deeper role to give Crawford the freedom to play further forward - if White comes in for Crawford then he can play in front of the defence, Thomason doesn’t get dropped after one game and Sarcevic can play behind the striker and hopefully start chipping in with more goals.

Probably won’t work like that but if Crawford is going to be dropped then I wouldn’t mind seeing Sarce have a run in his preferred position.

More than a few on here had commented on his defensive deficiencies before Vale. Worries me a bit Evatt doesnt seem to see it. ok going forward but liability defending offering no cover down that side

Dropping Crawford makes no sense especially while Tuttes not fit, even if Tuttes fit Crawford is still one of our best 3 midfielders.

On current form Crawford needs dropping. Might just get more out of Sarcevic then pushed forward as well. Bring in either Darcy or Isgrove or AN other. Crawford has been a waste of space. Doesnt solve problem of replacing Tutte tho so we could be firefighting until at least January.

Isgrove only played about 60 minutes football and he’s a more a wide/winger type.

I've seen enough to suggest he'd be more effective playing in Crawford's role.

We all know Crawford should be one of the better midfielders in this division, but we're now in December and he's yet to put in a man-of-the-match performance, or be anywhere near. Time for a change IMO.

Isgrove is a winger though. It's when he's been played wide he's looked good.

When you say winger, my thoughts go to Peter Thompson, Willie Morgan, David Lee. Even at the stage of their careers which saw them at Bolton I’d have any of those three before any current “winger” we have.

Think Isgrove was brought in to help supply Doyle to score goals as it worked last season at Swindon, I'd imagine Isgrove wouldn't be played as an out and out winger and is he good enough defensively for the wingback roll? Isgrove would imo be playing more in the Crawford role, could be wrong though.

Isgrove does look to have ability, but I think it was Marc Isles that checked out his assists for Doyle last season and I could be wrong but think it was all of 3.  After his neat finish on Saturday I thought he might have goals potential....erm, 1 since 2014 and that was a header in the play off final, Barnsley v Millwall.   A winger that went 6 years without scoring with a shot!
