Liam Gallager?

Pah his music is very middle of the road, beatlesy, vanilla, meh

I'd pay to go and see him for the event though, and he amuses me greatly on twitter etc. A proper entertainer really.

Don't get knocking him for doing mainstream shows, why not?

Blossoms were live from Brixton Academy on MelodyVR last night; they were very good, as ever. Made me realise how much i'm missing gigs etc

Liam and Noel are both very different but decent lads in their own way

however, without each other, musically, very average

you could say the same about some oasis stuff, but, as bands go and how they are perceived, they were top drawer

He loves Manchestorrrr that much, he lived in London, but he's a lad and has done some cracking tunes.

True, but then you can't blame him really, as Manchester is a bit shit compared to London, if you want to mix with the "movers and shakers" of the showbiz world I'd have thought

I was just getting myself ready, funnily enough.

Bang some massive lines, zip my parka up (right to the top) and saunter round to her house with a can in my hand.

She’ll have a proper wide on.

Practice your “alrite r kid”

Funnily enough 10 years working in Manc with Mancs I have lost my Bolton accent

I was just going to give her a backhander and take a fiver out of her purse.

Reckon she’ll be wetter than a spack’s chin.

Whatever you think about Noel he's penned 10 number one albums in a row

11 if you include greatest hits

That's every album he's done

Saw Liam at Glastonbury (on TV) and he was basically a shit Oasis tribute band

Yeah but can Liam read out the footie scores like our Mark 😁

Noticed we didn't feature on those scores.

Picked a result out and googled it. (Charlton 1 United 3)

Found the date to be November 19th 2005. Figured we must have been in Europe and played on the sunday which was wrong.

Turns out we were due to play Birmingham away on the Monday night but that was called off an hour before kick off due to fog.

Have no recollection of that whatsoever.

What a sad life I lead.

Noel's 1st solo was pretty good, all downhill after that for me.

Liam's solo work is average, some half decent tunes here and there along with Beady Eye, but overall very average.

Cracking frontman, still makes me laugh, still has the swagger and generally like his interviews, he's entertaining as fuck.

Wouldn't want Oasis to get back together, they couldn't replicate what they did with those first 2 albums, which were top drawer.

Aye

Oasis have been and gone

In the 90s they were young

Now they're not

They'll never do a live forever or cigarettes and alcohol again because they're wadded and have a different outlook on life

Some of Noel's stuff is still a decent listen

But Liam is clinging on to the past

Which is where it should be left

I remember that

Got round my mates early doors for a drink and a smoke, a Monday night treat, then it didn't happen, was gutted

Same thing happened for a Wigan match away on a Monday night, you get all revved up for the game then nowt happened because it was icy outside

In the days before IPTV weekday away matches on SKY were a treat
