It might be worth leaving Santos out and trying Taft and Delaney in a back four with Jones at RB and either giving Gordon a chance as a proper LB, or trying Greenidge there. Put Isgrove on the right wing and Fonz on the left and the shape might just look better all round. But other teams take great delight in doing it to us. We have had a succession of managers, going back to BSA, that are happy to just win a game. It always seems odd that managers of other teams don't declare at 2 or 3 like we always seem to. Even in the dark 80s we dished out a few thrashings (6-1, 8-1, 7-2 etc). In the PL years we were never going to hand out huge thrashings to anyone because, generally, the opposition was always too good. Since then we've been too shit to hand out thrashings to anyone.
